Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and expanding market opportunities within the hospitality and retail sectors. The role requires expertise in handling large inventories, establishing strong trade networks, and negotiating strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate should have strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the hospitality and retail industries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Inventory & Trade Management:
Manage and oversee large inventories efficiently.
Leverage existing trade networks to enhance supply chain and sales operations.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
Negotiation & Partnerships:
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and vendors.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline sales and operational processes.
Develop strategies for market penetration and business expansion.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or trade management.
Experience in handling large inventories and working with an extensive trade network.
Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and strategic planning abilities.
